Favia issue

this favia looks to be torn open into its flesh. All my fish are reef safe! However I was wonder if anyone has seen this and maybe it’s a normal thing ? One photo it’s circled and the other photo is a head on view

Looks to be dropping. I have one that does this. Never seems to be an issue. Looks healthy otherwise. I do not see any signs to worry about in the pictures.

This morning I looked at the favia and it looks perfectly normal I think it got ahold of a large piece of food and literally stretched its mouth over the food. I may be wrong but there is no signs of a problem now. Anyway thank you for the response.
