Got a new torch coral. I didn't realize how long the tentacles would extend once it settled in. I came home from work and they were nearly touching.

Here's after placement.

Should recover fine, flesh doesn't seem to far gone. You can do a dip in lugols if your worried about a bacterial infection setting in. About how long were they in contact with each other?

Well, I placed it there around 7 pm, got home from work at 4:30 pm, so potentially 21.5 hours.

I'm thinking the torch didn't open until lights on though, which after checking just now wasn't until 4pm. I must have made a mistake while playing with the program over the weekend...

Haha just had this happen last week. As long as the tissue is still there and not slime/globy, you should be ok! If it makes you feel better, you can give itna quick dip just incase

It should be fine. I have different scenario when my blasto fell on my acan twice. First half of two heads were eaten by my acan recovered then fell again and finally moved it and after 2 weeks its full heads again. They will heal up just fine.
