So I was talking to a buddy of mine today, discussing how we both aren't overly into the tenuis craze out there nowadays, granted both are long time stick lovers and will always appreciate being able to pull crazy colors out of any acro.
So I just wanted to know, what are some of your favorite tenuis that will be stunners in any lighting you view them under? Do any really stand out to you more than others? What sets them apart?

Happy reefing
-James

Just not under absolute actinic with filtered glasses and lenses per se. I run radiums. So maybe call it 20k or even 14k if you will? I just mean to the naked eye during whatever peak lighting is being run.
Some of my favorites
These are 18kish with a brown clip on filter

Not sure if it’s a tenius, but my red planet is absolutely stunning even under 0% blue or purple. Sorry bout the bubble, I’m getting it under control! All the pics Im about to post are all with the tank lights off (it’s 10 pm here) I just used the camera flash so this is like 100% no blues at all.

Then I have my Garf bonsai and Hawkins enchinata which aren’t tenius by any means but they are gorgeous even under a phone flash with no aquarium lights on at all

if really blasted Walt Disney is nice under that day light 18-20k radium spectrum.
Sexy Corals Orange Passion has very true color.
I’ve heard JF Homewrecker is nice of under daylight too. Mines just a frag so cant say for sure yet.

Ah yes. I definitely agree. I believe these 3 can probably be put into a "tried and true beauties" category at this point after the few years of being proliferated and beloved.

My vote would go to SCOP, Cherry bomb

and

Any of the variants that have green + orange/pink base and blue tips:. F2M Chrome Illusions, BC Aquatic man, TSA Bill Murray

No Tenuis is going to look as good under 14-20k MH as they will under 14-50k LEDs IMO.

But, I run Radium + Orphek Atlantik and a little bit of reef bright and I can vouch for the above picks looking good under 250w Radium on hqi ballasts.

Solid pieces and pictures but can you please repost in 5500k to 6500k or thereabouts? It isn’t daylight unless there are not-so-subtle hints of yellow.

I don’t know what you have against urine colored tanks.
I knew it was going to be good

I take it you are against the "daylight only crowd" lol. I am not in this category was just curious of people's favorites in this topic.

I think you know how much I hate posting pics of my Tenuis.
