Effective January 4, 2010, FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery standard list rates will increase an average of 4.9 percent. FedEx SmartPost rates also will change.

FedEx Corp. previously announced that it would increase shipping rates for FedEx Express by an average of 5.9 percent for U.S. domestic and U.S. export services also effective Jan. 4, 2010. The FedEx Express rate increase will be partially offset by adjusting the fuel price at which the fuel surcharge begins, reducing the fuel surcharge by two percentage points.

Changes will be made to other FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery surcharges effective Jan. 4, 2010. Additional adjustments will also be made to the FedEx Express and FedEx Ground fuel surcharge tables. The details of surcharge changes and the new rates are available at 2010 Rates.
