Feed pump size for ca reactor

i just purchased a used ca reactor setup does not have a feed pump has everything else and no literature. It is a hydor performer 1000 model 265. What i sm looking for is recommendations on the feed pump size for the tank effluent. Some have suggested an aqualifter but a lot say no cause it wont last. So feed pump recommendations what say yall
