Feeding fish clams while having a clam??

Has anyone ever fed clams to their fish while housing a Tridacna?? I’m wondering if they’ll have a taste for clam afterwards.

I feed homemade food daily...….live clams, mussels, oysters. Chopped and frozen, then thaw and feed.

I have a 6" deresa and no one has taken a bite yet

Most frozen food blends have clams in them. I've been feeding rods food for years and have two maxima clams in the tank.
