How often and how much do you guys feed your tanks on a regular basis? I feed mine about 3-4 times per day starting off with pellets, then frozen food mix, then flakes. I also dose with hatched baby brine if I have any new fish that are being picky eaters. Curious as to how often others feed their tanks.

Once every other day, hand fed different types of food depending on species and size. For 8 years so far.

3 times a day minimum usually much more because I feed flake as treats between meals which keeps all the fish active when people are around the tank vs hiding. Main meals are heavy on PE mysis along with rods. I add 4 or 5 different types of pellets and mix it all together adding some selcon and vitachem. I mix a container each morning and keep it in the fridge to feed throughout the day.

Few fish on my feeding program. 5 years with the convict 9 and 10 years with the purple and naso. They appear healthy to me.

Not in English, but I feed 2 times a day and work with a weekly schedule. I have a couple of special demanding eaters (regal angelfish and valentini puffer) which require sponges and shelled foods. But my schedule works with most fish if you change the angel formula for something else meaty.

Imo most overlooked food is krill, other meaty foods do not always provide enough unsaturated fatty acids to keep them healthy :)

I have two wrasses, three chalk bass, a blenny and a diamond goby. I feed 3-4 times a day. I use LRS frozen, mysis and Vitalis pellets or TDO. I alternate days with the frozen foods.

6 times a day, every day, once every 30 minutes between 4 PM and 7 PM, like clockwork. Which makes sense because it's my Plank autofeeder on a timer. I currently run it for 25 seconds at a time, using a homemade blend that's pretty similar to Avast's Reef Jerky. Freeze-dried mysis, freeze-dried calanus, freeze-dried rotifers, TDO chromaboost pellets, Benereef, Hikari herbivore pellets, Aquaforest Zoa food, BRS golden pearls. I think it's roughly equivalent to about a cube of frozen per day. I'll likely bump it up as I add more fish in, but the current level seems to be good for all of my fish without leaving a lot of wasted food.

Currently have a one-spot foxface, Molly Miller blenny, orchid dottyback, ocellaris clown, azure damsel, Talbot damsel, leopard wrasse, koi fairy wrasse, pinkbar goby, scissortail goby and green mandarin.

How do you like your Mollie Miller? Does he eat your soft corals? Can you keep rock flowers around him? Does he bomb around making corals close up (I.e. gonis)? Dies he balance this by eating algae and Aptasia? I’m trying to decide if his trade offs are worth it.

He mostly gets a meh from me. He hasn't caused any problems with any corals, but he also hasn't eaten any algae or aiptasia. I forgot a fish from my stock list, there's also a bristletail filefish that I had to bring in from my other tank to control the aiptasia in this tank.

Maybe I just got a dud of a Molly Miller, or maybe he was actually misidentified and is one of the similar-looking blennies that are often sold as Molly MIller blennies. All I know is, as a blenny it's been quite a disappointment. Little of the blenny personality that I love, quite an ugly fish, and provides no utility. If I were a more callous person I'd have fired him from the tank, but I don't do that. He isn't causing problems so he gets to stay.

Interesting. Thanks!
Mine has done all the things I listed. I do not see Aptasia nor algae in the tank, so maybe he helps on that. I just can’t confirm. I do know he’s eaten clove polyps and possibly stereonepthya. He’s bitten an acan and a scolymia. He bumbles around a lot, causing corals to close. I think about removing him but I don’t know if then I’d see Aptasia and algae!
