Seeking advice on food types......
I'm currently feeding a mix of foods.
1. Omega one marine flakes
2. Omega one marine pellets w/garlic
3. Tetra large saltwater flakes
4. Ultra fresh marine pellets
5. Frozen fish eggs
6. Freeze dried mysis (soaked in selcon)
7. Freeze dried krill (soaked in selcon)

I do alternate foods, and I do feed 3x a day.

My questions are....
1. Has anyone found a great food that works for both fish and corals? I have an LPS dominant mixed reef and currently feed reef roids 2x a week with all flow off.
2. Should I be turning off all flow for regular feedings?
3. Is there a flake food that doesn't break down and scatter all over the place as soon as it touches the water?

Also......

Is this amount of flow okay for goni? This isn't their forever home, just got them. So they're just chilling on a rack.

Hey!

So for the flakes, I'd recommend that you buy, 3d print (or, I could print one for you if you would like) a feeding tube so the flakes absorb water and then sink, rather than going all over the water surface and down the overflow.

As for dry food, I like the aquaforest pellets, as they sink easier to feed corals, if any pass through because the fish eat them all.

I don't turn off the flow for fish feedings, I only turn it off for coral or invert feedings.

For the gonis, the flow may be a bit much. Try lowering it a little and see if they open more. Very minor adjustments slowly. They are sensitive! :)
