Cool white. Quite surprised how many run majority blues, you lose all the subtle colours of everything else in the tank. Each to their own I suppose.

I’ve always liked my daytime lights to be on warmer end of the spectrum in the speculative 12-15k range with heavy blue highlights in the last few hours of the day. In regards to LEDs, it means I’ve normally ran the cool white spectrum around 65-75% and the blues around 75- 85% depending on brand and depth of tank.
Shout out if you remember Radium 250s
Running 400 watt Radiums right now. I’d say it’s in the 14k spectrum being driven on Bluewave ballasts.

Not sure what to call what I use -- Blue with White mixed in.
It's just a scaled down version of BRS YouTube video recommendation that I'm satisfied with.

my favorite way to go about it
(i do like my tank with more whites BUT) seeing blue in the morning before work and again after looks really nice, corals get their heavier white while i’m away (most days) other times it is nice seeing things clearly

I have no idea what total spectrum would average out at. I'm running over 100% (AI Hydra 52's) on violet, Royal blue and blue and 30% Cool white. No red/green.

I'm a diver also and I want the tank to look more like what I see when diving.
Hi, what is the purpose of the UV spectrum in the AI lights? I’ve always wondered if I should use it or not

Even rocks deserve another chance! Would you reuse old reef rock in your saltwater tank?
