Helpless feeling, knowing those beautiful fish are freezing to death...

Well, I dont like to but fish that are seasonal make that difficult.

Plus, they die from heat quicker than cold IME.

Cant win. I will say doa fish have been pretty rare for me, ive been lucky until now.

Great news! I actually have had an order survive 48 hours in shipment during the winter. Of course upper 20's is considered really cold here. We too have much more problem with heat here. I watch the weather during the summer if I'm ordering corals or fish.

LA/DD always would tell me they ship for a 48 hour trip. Maybe yes from an oxygen perspective, but less so from a temp perspective. Regardless, good news.
