Looking good. I have the 10 gallon and 29 gallon AIO kits from Fiji Cube in my 10 and 29 tanks respectively. If/when I am able to afford much larger tanks, I Fiji Cube is one of my main considerations for purchasing the tank.

They are definitely great aquariums. Once I'm able to go bigger I will probably stick with them. I plan on getting their hang on back refugium and maybe their skimmer as well eventually.

So big project day today. I finally decided to conquer the t5 canopy situation. Started with this.

Then I had to measure out where to put them.

Then install the brackets

Install ballast.

If it weren't for @FishOfHex and his video about wiring these things i would have been absolutely lost.

Then showtime. I went with one actinic and one blue plus. So happy they fired up the first time.

Still a wire mess up top. Eventually I will clean it up. This is t5 only.

And with all lights on.

Pretty happy with it so far. I might move them down a little. Right now they are sitting at about 10 inches off the water. It all depends on what the par readings are.

So I thought it would be a good time to start adding a clean up crew. I have seen small patches of algae and this lil guy. Confirmed through a thread that it was indeed an amphipod.

The LFS I went to had just sold out of hermit crabs. No big deal. I prefer snails. So I got 15 astrea snails (5of them going to my girlfriend's tank) and one sand tiger conch.

Rough concept. I still may change it but basically have a rainbow theme for the middle arch. Whatever I can find that will fit the concept and not be too much of a pest to its neighbors.

I’ve always been a fan of minimalist scapes. Do you have a plan for coral placement on each island or are you just winging it?
I really like the minimalist look as well. I'm only going to be putting in corals i really like.

I like the plan. Looking forward to seeing it implemented.

added my first coral last week. Just a couple of testers that I have duplicates of. I also put in my acro that was stn ing due to complications in my girlfriend's tank. They have looked really good so I am going to add more.

so I added some more corals and some fish. My girlfriend's tank is crashing for some reason so I had to take more than I originally planned. Added our mated banggai cardinal pair, a few different zoanthids, stylophora, blastos, Miami hurricane chalice, anacropora, acan lords, birds nest, and a psammacora.

It's nice to have some fish in there finally. Makes me look like less of a weirdo staring at an empty tank.

Acquired some new coral through a YouTube live sale from a local vendor. Goniopora and a blue raven blasto merletti. First time trying out gonis. So far so good.

Nice looking Goni. I’ve never had one but I’d like to get one at some point.

So a few things to update on. I had a salinity drop event where my ato failed on. Salinity dropped to 1.023. I mixed some extra salty water to bring it back up to 1.025. Unfortunately my new goni has not reacted well to that. Polyps are not really extending and it kind of looks like its receding. On top of that I lost one of the banggai cardinal pair. He was super skinny and not eating anything I threw at him. I did pick up some new inhabitants. Blue reef chromis and Hector's goby.
