I am having scerious problems with my internal filter. The level in the 2nd chamber and return pump are draining very rapidly and keep draining no matter how much water I add. The pump is set to the slowest it will go. The water level is the way it has always been. It was fine until this week a few days after a water change. need help fast.

Has your pump got stuck in a high position? Does your filter sock need changing or is your overflow blocked, slowing down your overflow?

I’m going to try removing the filter socks because they aren’t really doing anything.

that’s what’s probably causing it, socks are good as long as you change them every couple of days, you can swap to the cups and add floss, much easier to clean, just bin the floss instead of cleaning the socks.
