Ok so maybe
A great barrier reef clownfish
sixline wrasse
Midas blenny
blackcap basslet

All are pretty aggressive fish and could they balance the aggression out? If not

pair of clowns
sixline wrasse
swissguard basslet or chalk basslet
maybe a Midas blenny since my skimmer is oversized

i cant think

It’s also known as the Lubbocks wrasse, cirhilabus Lubbock. Its mainly a cave fish.
That is the species I have. I have both variants of it and the Cebu is much larger and much more active. At first the Indonesian was a ‘cave’ fish however now he’s established, he displays every evening towards my Cebu variation of Lubbocki. I’ve also never seen anyone having this species of Cirrhilabrus in smaller tanks but I wonder if it’s different over in Australia.

A sixline is a bad idea, the only thing I’ve seen that’s more aggressive than the sixlines are the Acanthurus tangs. The Sixline wrasses are bound to kill tankmates in a 20G tank.
I would personally avoid wrasses if you’re going for an ‘aggressive’ tank as the only suitable wrasses for these sized tanks are extremely timid species and unless they’re in first they’ll likely die of stress.

Ok so what about a balanced one with a pair of gbr clowns and a Midas blenny, and what else do you recommend?
I’d personally add a Pseudocheilinops ataenia or maybe a Wetmorella albofasciata. Both of these species would have to go in first though and you could only really have one in your tank size.

Welp I guess I’m doing A 40 gallon instead. I thought it was 200 bucks but it was only 120, which is fairly cheap in aud. So I rethought this.

Equipment
Coral box something pump
macro aqua m 50
heater
2 lumini pixies.
Only skimmer setup and no aio.

Basically everything is the same and my stocking-

A pair of clowns
A fairy wasse
hogfish
swissguard basslet
some kind of hawkfish
Orange spot goby
Midas blenny
Yellow head jawfish
Reef safe angel (coral beauty or something)

So here it is, the final stage of my DIY AIO tank. I have been asking questions and all but I need some help with stocking.

Fish stocking
midas blenny
tri color wrasse
Swiss guard basslet
orange spotted goby or clownfish

inverts
cleaner shrimp
tiger conch (2x)
gold ring cowries (4x)
dwarf cerith snails (4x)
tuxedo urchin

equipment
aqua one heater
macro aqua m-50 skimmer
aqua one 105 powerhead + return pump
filter sock

aquascape
Cured live rock from my lfs
aragonite sand

others
tetra test strips (works on SW as well and tests ph, alk, nitrate, hardness, nitrite and chlorine)
calcium test from api
Phosphate test from salifert
filter floss for media basket
aquaforest reef salt
refractometer
acrylic (to build aio with ofc)

questions
will the fish be alright?
do I need anything else?
Is my CUC sufficient?
I’ve heard horror stories about Dinoflagellates, can you get rid of them fully? is there a creature that eats them?
Any tangs? (Jk)
Love my Midas ! It’s in my 37g. I’ve been working on a Landen 16g aio. I put my first corals in it tomorrow! I’m so confused on the water levels! Good luck!
