Finally got a carpet

Small piece of silverside.

If you can, I would try something else. Myself and a few other experienced anemone keepers have had issues with silversides -- I lost an otherwise healthy H. malu after feeding it one.

Nice, healthy looking carpet. Resist the urge to feed for a while. It will take some time for the nem to fully acclimate. Some have also reported health issues after feeding silversides.

Is there any other solid food I can feed? He seems to like solid food much more then mysis. Also he has colored up Nicely

Seems to be gaining green everyday.

Fresh fish or shrimp from your grocer is best. Not a good idea to feed large chunks of food as the nem may not be able to digest it fully before it starts to rot.

I feed him a piece a little less than half of his mouth. Is that a good size?

Just a little update. As some of you may know my tank went through some issues, and almost everything died, fortunately for me a good friend took him in when things started to die, I picked him up from him after letting my tank mature. He is about 12-15 inches across now, so he has grown a good 10+ inches in the past year. I will be introducing him to his new home in about 30 mins. I will post pictures tomorrow when he is fully acclimated. Great to have him back.
