I was worried at first, but they actually get along really well. The Purple firefish was extremely shy before the helfrichi went in, but now they are both always out swimming together. I have yet to see any aggressive posturing or chasing going on, but they do sleep on opposite sides of the tank.

That's AWESOME!!! Glad they get along for ya. How are you securing the top of your tank? These are considered jumpers right?

I see why your sig says Caulerpa is latin for evil LOL:D . I just lost my firefish, a piece of LR shifted while he was taking up house under it and squish.

Thankfully that's not the Caulerpa! I swapped out my old Caulerpa ridden rock for some dry rock, and that's just the hair algae (not Bryopsis) that cropped up and was quickly eaten by the Mexican Turbo Snails. If you look at the older pics of my tank on here, you'll see the Caulerpa problem I had.

Sorry to hear about your fish :(

Here's a couple minute video I shot with my camera of him and their tank. The quality is admittedly crap...but gives an idea of the tank as it is now. Obviously the top is off for the shooting ;)
