So have a Fluval 16g nano up and running for a year, pretty healthy LPS coral and some fish/inverts.

Recently upgraded light and rescaped a bit to open the tank up. Summer has been busy so tank has been ignored sadly...but we are back in and paying attention after some GHA popped up. We don't do a lot of testing, just small water changes/maintenance (new carbon and chemipure) monthly and filter changes weekly-ish.

Couple questions...finally got a Hanna Phos checker and a Salifert Alk test kit.

Got a 7ppb Phos and a 6.1 Kh reading. I think Alk is low, should be around 8?

What about the Phos? that in a good range? The old Salifert phos test always came back 0.

Yes 8 is good for alkalinity, and just try and keep phosphate low to avoid potential issues.
