After a lengthy delay, I'M IN!!! Just placed my order today. 3 K-7's headed to the house to illuminate my Deep Blue 80 gal tank. Its shallow with a 24 x 48 footprint and I've been on the fence trying to decide between 2 or 3 lights. I went with three based primarily on eliminating most shadows and dark areas in the corners and also I can run the lights at a reduced power for longevity as well.

Good plan. We bought 4 for our 125 but for 6 month used one over the QT. Finally finished stocking the tank with fish and corals and inverts so going to mount the 4th one soon. We definitely have a shadow problem with just the 3 of them. Ours is a 125g 72” x 18” x 24” high
