As title suggests ive recently bought a microscope to id cyano bacteria in my tank, ive noticed these apparently 3 pointed star shapes, i thought maybe some kind of diatom but i stumbled on a thread from twilliard where he also found these and thought it might be a parasite of some kind but never added more

I have them as well. Didn’t know what they were. But after some googling I think they do look like sponge sporacles. Not sure if that’s bad.
