When I saw your tank in the outside pictures I imagined myself striking a pretty pose but now I can only think of lying face to the ground. You’re right it does seem shallow. How many gallons and high is it again?
I spy 3 tangs .Version 1.I have a Reef Tank again.
You pose a good argument. We need MOAR rock. Surprised it’s very minimal.I spy 3 tangs .
I'm trying to understand where the light is coming from. My brain hurts.
Looks like you could fit MOAR rock in there if you want. Always good .

It has imo the perfect amount of rock. If you look at how it was built, it's function built first. The entire thing is a hollow shell of caves. There's probably 200 lbs of rock in the tank and another hundo in the sump/ frag tank.I spy 3 tangs .

There will always be dead spots in the sand under a traditional aquascape. I'm hoping with the wide tunnels and access, plus good flow, there should be enough happening there to keep it from getting too nasty as I also don't clean the sand. This is kinda the idea I had for when I set the cade back up. My hold up was caution regarding the sand stagnating in the caves - esp since I don't want another burrower & I'm anti siphon lol thinking some goats might help control that though.
Get in where you fit in.
This thread will self destruct soon.
