I don’t know if this is funny or sad, but I may be the record holder for curing rock. The date on the lid was the date I did the last water change on the rock (3 in total). The rock went in the water in May of 2015. :( Pretty sure there are no pests though.

That rock on top.. The Coral skeleton of the coral. I have that same one . Sad part is . its a coral i killed with lack of experience long long long ago..

Everything gets covered in GSP.. The back of my now old tank was.. That is sad part. I did scrape it off . the gsp is in the sump and i am hoping i can super glue it to the back of the new tank.

It is pretty hardy, so I am sure you can get it glued to the back glass. In spots, at least. I had all over the back wall of my nano, but scraped it off when I rebooted the tank. I have some more in it now and I need to cut it back, before it covers too much more real estate. I know it is a weed, but still one of my favorite corals.

Ok, this is another issue I have. How many people really remove all bar code stickers and wash each PVC fitting in hot soapy water before assembly? Weirdness I tell you!

Ok, it won't look like I accomplished much today, but I actually did. I added unions to existing plumbing, which required a slight redo in spots. Both returns are about 85% completed now and drains are finished. In previous pictures, a lot of the plumbing was dry fit only. It is all cemented now, except a few fittings and a short run on the bottom of the right return. The reverse check valves and plumbing to those are also cemented. I hope they work as well as the one that Melev uses on his 400. Kind of a weird plumbing set up to get them mounted without being too much in the way, they just need to suck air when the power goes off. :-) I did add two unions to the SeaSwirls, so they can be removed easily for any maintenance. Anyway, it was a good day for a change.

Tank one 24" x 24" cube took about 7 months, tank 2 , 8' x 30" x 36" h, and tank 3, 4' x 30" x 27" h ,I think cant remember would have to look at paper work. Ordered October 2014, shipping in two weeks! March 2016 Worth it! They are like a piece of art! I am very pickey with every detail, I can not find a flaw anywhere on this tank! I am thinking about ordering a forth tank 8' x 4' x 15"h frag tank next with a reef savvy sump to go with it. I am sure it will take over 1 year but I am ok with that.

It seems that 1” PVC U-Tubes are impossible to find - or simply don’t exist. 1 1/2”, no problem. So I made my own 1” for my overflow.
