Do I need to disconnect the power bar from the ProfiLux prior to performing the firmware update for the ProfiLux?

I have never disconnected anything when doing the firmware upgrades.

If you upgrade FW on a a P3 or P4 computer - you do not need to disconnect any PAB device. Its only when you upgrade the FW of a PAB device that you need to do it with only that device connected.

However - before an P3/P4 FW upgrade - be sure to save all settings and sensor data so you can restore them if something going south

Please note that when the profiLux 4 switches to update mode, the 1-10v outputs switch to 10v. Be careful, therefore, if you leave devices connected to it at this time, depending on what is plugged in.
