This is my first anemone ever so I’m a little nervous. Here’s a video of it after being in the tank only 30 minutes. Is this too much flow ? I know they move when unhappy but I’m wondering.

I don’t have the scientific name for it, if anyone knows. I suppose orange BTA is not the right name.

Thanks !

That's more than enough. I never really understood the notion that BTA's need crazy high flow. Mine are happy and thriving in a 60g with a single Nero 3 turned down to its slowest setting.

Some of mine have way more flow than that, some have less. I wouldn't be worried about flow. As long as tank is mature, parameters are correct and stable, and the light you have is sufficient.

Thank you. Tank is 16 months old, parameters seem stable (my corals have been doing better lately and I’ve been afraid to test in case I see discrepancy, try to fix it and ruin everything).

How would I know it there isn’t enough light ?

What light are you using? I have 2 kessil 360s over a 90g. They're at 95% during peak which is about 5 hours of a 12 hour schedule. All of the roses are as close as they can get, the rainbows sit just under them.

That is a little too much for BTA. It will move to a more appropriate area, less exposed and lower flow. It like to hide it's foot in crevice and reach up for light.

I bought some embroidery plastic or whatever and I’m going to cover them.

I have 4 x AI Prime 16 HD on this 48 inch kong tank. They’re at 85% most of the day, besides ramp up and down (about 8 hours).

I can’t see your video :-(

I don't think you should worry either way. Sounds like you have everything needed. If in 2-3 weeks things get worse, then worry.
