You can kinda set it where you would like it but 98% of the time it will move on you. Turn off all flow to the tank when you put it in for an hr so it can establish its foot. I acclimate with water drip for an hr as well

They are very easy to keep in a well established tank. Unless you have zero nitrates, as nitrates are a food source for BTAs.
Well, my tank isn't "well" established. It's about 4 months old, but i run 15-20 nitrate (if my api test is accurate) consistently for past 3 months.

Thanks, i had a condy about 5 years ago. That thing loved to roam. I've heard the BTA were less apt to move once they found a spot they liked.

Will probably drip for an hr+. I'm running my reef a little "dirtier" than most.

4 months is much better than a brand new tank. I place them upside down in my hand and place them under a rock ledge or hole near the bottom of a rock where I want them. A healthy anemone will attach very quickly this way. I have never bothered to turn the flow down or off. pick a spot where the foot will be protected, out of tbe light is best. A spot where the anemone can extend out in to strong lighting with decent flow around it, but not directly blowing at it, they will usually stay there.

Thanks, this is what they will be going into (for a few months)

Thank you, and they are very interesting. If these 2 do well, i may invest in a more expensive morph.

This is after they got all settled
