I just bought my first fish today (royal gramma) and it's been in the same spot all night at the bottom of the tank tucked next to a rock. I drip acclimated the fish. Is it normal for a fish to act this way in a new environment? Thanks

Okay thanks. Just want my tank to work out well lolYep, they are pretty skittish fish. Most likely just a bit stressed and figuring things out. It will become more active as it acclimates to its new surroundings.
Small, timid fish like this will hide for several days sometimes before coming out, totally normal behavior.Yep, they are pretty skittish fish. Most likely just a bit stressed and figuring things out. It will become more active as it acclimates to its new surroundings.
Yes as they like to hide. If you give it a little cave it will be a happy fish.
