First frag help!!!

I just received a leather coral frag and it's my first coral I put it straight into my tank with the frag stand and I didn't dip it first because I was unaware. Will I be ok with just this one frag without dipping it and keeping the stand in or should I take it out cut the frag off the stand and glue it straight into the Rock?also the bottom of the frag does not look right to me or it mite be normal. It's greenish and ugly looking. Please help thanks.

It's already in there I wouldn't worry about dipping it now. It's a good idea to have a dipping routine in place for the future.

Too late to dip now since its in your display. I'd at the least inspect for any pests. As far as gluing the frag onto the rock, it will look better without the plug. Once it encrusts the rock a little bit it should look a lot better at the base.

If the coral is healthy to begin with it won't hurt to cut it off.
