First time posting and my first dive into the saltwater side of the aquarium hobby. I've kept fresh water tanks on and off for 15+ years. I live just north east of Columbia, SC. I have a 75 gallon set up with two clowns and a small clean up crew consisting of a few astrea, cerith and nass snails, blue leg hermits a coral banded shrimp and a mithrax crab. Tank is about one month old.

No corals yet, until I saw this growing on one of my snails.

I think it's a porites, maybe a montipora? I'm not sure, it's really small but definatly a kind of SPS. Hopefully it hangs in there, it looks pretty healthy with full polyp extension.

Welcome aboard, Robin!

The tank's looking good, those clowns are beautiful .... and what an awesome hitchhiker to find on a snail!

Thanks. The clowns were a trade in at a LFS in Columbia. I'm not sure why someone would want to trade those guys I love their colors and the female was eating out of my hand after 3 days. They are always close to each other and have taken up residence in the left side of the tank. They cruise the rocks a few times a day.
I had a bit of trouble with the rocks. I originally had one of the large pieces over on the left side of the tank, but decided I wanted to make a cave because I've become very interested in adding a golden dwarf moray in the future. So that is the structure you see on the right side of the tank. When I moved the rock over and set it in place I bumped the top arch and the epoxy gave way and it fell. It landed in the sand so nothing was harmed, but I had to run out and get some cyano glue to put it back up. My coral banded shrimp loves it, I hardly ever see him come more than a few inches out of it then he slowly crawls back in. The mithrax crab spends his days in the as well. They might get run out of there if I ever end up with an eel.
