Hello fellow reefers I just want to start out by telling a little about myself. I started out 2 years ago in freshwater planted tanks and within the first couple months of setting up my first planted tank it had turned into a high tech tank with co2 and a bunch of bright red and purple plants, a handful of some of the hardest and rarest plants to color up. After about a year of the high tech planted hobby I was already bored so that’s when I decided to test out the waters that we call reef tanks. I new before I ever put the first gallon of saltwater in a tank that I wanted to try growing sps coral. I started out with a Fluval Evo 13.5 and a 32 Biocube, I was told that if I could keep coral alive in a small tank then a larger tank would be a breeze. So to keep this short after about 10 months of setting up a couple of small tanks I finally converted and built a Clear For Life 67 gallon tank and stand that I got off of OfferUp for $75.00 and this is the official beginning of having a SPS dominate reef tank.

Looks like a great start. I too was into the high tech planted tank setups....changed to reef tanks and have never looked back.
