What product are you going to be dosing?
With BRS 2 part (Randy's recipe 1), 105g water volume, and 0.12dkh drop per day, you need to dose 9ml per day to stay stable.
I prefer lower numbers, but there are many ways to successfully run a tank. I like my alk at 8dkh and calcium at around 400ppm. But yes, if those are really the numbers you want, that is correct. I wouldn't raise alk all at once though, that would be a big jump. You should break that up among multiple days imo.Am I doing this right? How do you know how much to add based on this calculation?
I want a 450 calc and a 10 Alk right?
If you already have the dosers there is no reason to not use them. Set them at 9ml per day each and measure daily to see how things stabilize. I think keeping it at 8dkh is just fine but it won't hurt if it drifts up or down between 7 and 9.
I would split each one up into 2 doses. One later in the morning and another mid afternoon afternoon. Would also set the alk and calc at least 15 minutes apart so they mix without precipitating.Good point

The 2 part came with mag. What do I do with that? Just add when needed?
