First time mixing station help.

Hi thier this may sound like a silly question, but i wanna set up mixing station , What is the best way to preclean a 20 gal brute trashcan to be set for the Ro/Di and salt mix . Thank you in advance for the help.

I have successfully cleaned with a bleach/water solution and then cold water rinsed until the smell was either faint or gone

Do you remember the ratio? OR would it be better to use a white vinegar solution, I am only going to be useing it for mixing and getting it up to water temp. No plans for storeing.
