First time reef tank metrics

I've been doing about 15-20% water changes weekly, plus floss changes (that are always dirty. Still get algae on the glass every week that I've been cleaning off. Is that normal? I've got 6 inches of fish in a 32 biocube with CUC. Some coral. metrics are fine. Trying to keep my nitrates below 10. Other than that, everything seems ok.
