OK, back on track to get the tank running. Now that I got the lights up and working on day 2 of the bulb burn in.

Salt is steady at 1.026
PH- 8.2
Alkalinity- 139ppm
Phosphate- 0.02
Everything else is at 0

Just start to add in the bacteria and stuff with the Red Sea Reef Mature ( I hope on the right track)

Had to cut the Gyre 280 back to 20% see if that helps. It was moving all the sand on the other end away.

So far so good. Just let it keep cycling. I'm sure by adding the bacteria and all it will speed it up but patients works best in this hobby.
The cloudy water could be bacterial bloom. Should go away. Are you adding any thing else to the tank?

Really nice looking build. Did you plumb the Vectra in the sump or in the back, where you had the previous pump? Apex, you might consider adding one of their leak detection probes in the dry area behind your sump.

Thanks, I plumb it in the back behind the sump. Added the leak detector to the list

Well I got the sump in today from Jeff at Lifereef and it came out great. Just another piece of the puzzle to make the great picture complete.

Nice ! Which model is that ?
I just ordered a new LifeReef Sump and Refugium from Jeff today. I am on a waiting list, but I can't wait until he builds mine out.
