Fish for a 10gal long nem dominated

I have had 2 clowns in a 10 before, they were perfectly fine!

They would survive and "be fine" but its about well-being of another living creature.

and I thought max fish in a 10gal is 1-2?

For freshwater. Saltwater fish behave different and need more room than freshwater fish.
