So my female clownfishes lip had look swollen and now it looks like it’s bottom lip is splitting. Any ideas what this could be??? It has me concerned...

There has been a little bit. The male or female will nip at the underside of each other then they will do a little dance lol. Other than that no lip locking. No aggression really. I bought them from my LFS and they claimed they were mated when they received them. I did however just put in a frogspawn frag not to long ago. I noticed this lip issue after I added the frogspawn...

Looks like the aftermath of pairing off or cleaning rock at pre-spawn. They beat themselves up
Is it eating?

Yep. Male and female both eat fine. I feed them frozen brine. They both are acting normal. Nothing out of the ordinary...

I think time will heal but checking for early signs of bacterial infection is something I would keep in mind.
My male ran into an infection in his eye a week ago prior. It healed up quite nicely. Any correlation between the two you think?
