I have a JBJ 45 tank. its SPS dominated with a couple euphyllia frags and some anemones. For fish I currently have a Midas blenny, a yellow Coris wrasse, a captive bred mandarin dragonet, and a single clownfish. I have tried to pair the clownfish unsuccessfully three times and have gave up. I also added a pink-streaked wrasse with the yellow but have yet to see it so I am assuming it died despite the fact it made it through quarantine. it may be hiding still.

I plan on adding a long nose hawkfish and am looking for another fish or two. I have been told by my LFS I could probably add a fairy wrasse but would like confirmation as my tank seems a bit small for one.

Options Eliminated
Neon / purple dottyback
Royal Gramma
Pajama Cardinal

Options under consideration
Banghaii Cardinal single or pair
Chromis pair
Firefish single or pair
Coral beauty or flame angel - have been dissuaded by these guys as I've heard in a tank my size they can get aggressive and eat corals
Yellow tail damsel
Four Line Wrasse - I've heard mixed reviews on if they're aggressive like the 6 lines or if it would be peaceful

Any input as to how many fish I could get away with is appreciated as well. Filtration shouldn't be an issue, so just aggression. I have an entire gallon of pond matrix in the sump as well as a Santa Monica Drop 1.4X and will dose nopox or similar if needed.

here's a picture of tank / aquascape if it helps

Algea Eaters biggest consumption is detritus though, only a smaller percentage of its diet is algae. Just something to think about. We keep one in every frag tank.
I never thought about that. I do have a Midas Blenny currently - would there be any aggression issues? Also would I have to find a food for it to eat / add nori regularly? I currently feed a Hikari frozen carnivore mix as well as Cyclops / BRS freeze dried calanus.

I can't be sure if the other midas blenny would be compatible. My understanding is, as long as it isn't the same exact species. But perhaps someone else would have more insight on it?
The frozen food selection you picked is just fine! They eat meaty foods, or vegetation and detritus.
