In my 32gal Biocube I have a McCoskers Wrasse and a Purple Firefish.
From time to time I see them rub up against the rocks scratching themselves.
No apparent outward signs of any distress or disease.

Anything to be concerned about?

My first thought would be flukes (wrasses are notorious for bringing them in). Given that those are both colorful fish, and that wrasses have an uncanny ability to hide symptoms, I'd be on the lookout for head twitching and or excessive"yawning"

Any chance either of the fish would let you catch them? A freshwater dip could rule out flukes.

Form or function: Do you consider your rock work to be art or the platform for your coral?
