Now realizing he is still stuck in the overflow. My bad!

lol ok good luck, I’ll try to think of some ideasomg youre fine im giving him a break so i dont stress him out too much and hopefully he may come back out from behind the tubes as i cant do much when hes back there. im hoping i can think of something to get him out but at this point he may just be one with the overflow
I pulled it out twice with no issues luckily, i have to cover it now because they keep heading in there somehowYour overflow is the same as mine. DO not pull out drain pipe or your fish will end up in the piping just like flushing the toilet. Hopefully you have a shut off on the drain. If not shut off pump. The water will drain a bit but you have anti siphon protection. Once pump is shut off close drain or plug the drain. Then it is safe to pull out the drain pipe, and you can catch it with a net. I have had do do it more that once when my female clown chased the male into it.
Great glad it worked out I did the same. After a while they will settle down. Has not happened in a couple of monthsI pulled it out twice with no issues luckily, i have to cover it now because they keep heading in there somehow
