Hey this is my first post but I have been reading a lot on this forum
After a terrible day I figured I would post this
I lost 2 of my beloved fish in the past 24h
My blue tang died from what looks like normal cause and my copper and butterfly committed suicide jumping out of my tank I have been into saltwater for 4year and it seems like I cannot have a blue tang in my tank there is always something that happens to them
So here is my question what fish you cannot keep in your tank no matter how hard you try

Welcome to Reef2Reef and sorry for your losses.

I have had so much trouble with new fish in the past that I was afraid to add anymore at all for about a year. I did have about 3 diamond gobies die on me until i quite trying to keep them. First one suicide, put eggcrate cover. Second one wiggled through the eggcrate and baked under my lights. Third eaten by a serpent star. Never again.

Blue stripe cleaner wrasse had one for an hour and second on overnight rest of tank is great every thing else I put in thrives just can't put then they even feed when first put turn your head and there gone

Butterflies -
- copperbands - cannot convince them to eat
- longnose (love those guys) - but my yellow tang become nuts when see such fish and have to catch it and bring it back to shop. All tricks, acclimatisation boxes, change aquascape - nothing works. This tang ignore any other new fish, but go crazy when sees a longnose :(
