Hi
I searched but haven't found a definite answer.
I purchased a flame angel today, it looks great. not eating yet but I decided to take the change.
the plan was to have him eating first in a 15g QT and starting with copper treatment.
the guy who runs fy LFS says that pygmy angles are very sensitive to copper and I should consider TTM instead.
Was wandering what you guys think?

They can handle chelated copper better than ionic and so goes for chloroquine phosphate.
Tank transfer method is also fine.

For what it's worth, I have treated several dwarf angels with copper. (Copper power @ 1.75ppm).

I personally do not care for TTM because of how much I see velvet coming in on new fish.

Do you think dwarf angels are more sensitive to copper then other fish?
Should I ramp up slower than usual? Say 6 days to get to 1.75ppm?

all fish are sensitive to copper. its a poison. i dont find angels to be any more sensitive than a clown or tang etc.
But as i said its a poison so i always recommend ramping up slowly. I know most meds on market say to dose in 1 day or 2 but i always recommend 4-6 days of slow and low doses to reach final number and then start the clock.
