So I have heard about having 1 M with 2-3F as possible for flame angels in large tanks...but I came across this while looking on youtube... is this possible or is this going to go bad...they have 10 in a guessing about a 240G

I suppose it’s possible but you are basically not going to be able to keep lps and most likely even sps because chances are excellent one of those angels will like corals. Once the other ones see one eating your corals, they will all start. As far as in a fowlr, you can do it, hoping that the aggression will be spread out enough for a specific one not to be picked on enough to cause significant damage. It’s definitely not common though.
The other thing is these angels pick on rocks all day eating pods. One is ok in a tank but more than that? I find it very hard to believe there is enough pods to go around.

In a mature tank Angels will find plenty to eat without having to work the corals.

In my 400g tank the angel list includes:
Goldflake
Joculator Pair (Spawning)
Venustus Trio (Spawn Dance)
Bellus Trio (Spawning)
Flameback Trio (Spawning)
Golden Pair
Yellow belly Mis-bar Regals - Pair
and 1 Flame

All my SPS and LPS are fine -

Acan's are fine for 4-6 months and then the Goldflakes will get them.

I've tried up to 4 Flame angels in the past - But just didn't get the 'harem' effect I was hoping for.

The Flamebacks will spend the most time together.

Previously I had a trio of Goldens that were spawning - and when on the occassion you got a chance to see the Goldens you would catch a glimpse of one following the other closely through the rocks.

That’s sounds pretty awesome. I gotta see a pic of that!
