Got this guy a couple days ago from LFS.

Initially thought it was just stress but I’m beginning to worry of this is gill flukes.

He is eating and fairly active. Video below.

Should I start with prazi?

Why do you suspect flukes? The video doesn't show very much to support diagnosis.

Should I start with prazi?

Video very fuzzy but start with 5 mins freshwater dip the same temperature as display tank and prazi for 8 day interval, water change and one more 8 day treatment
Add aeration for added oxygen

I should add as I was leaving for work, some signs of flukes:
Shaking head back and forth
Yawning behavior
Somewhat lethargic
Heavy breathing
Refusing to eat
Scratching itself against objects to dislodge flukes

Tough to see in the video, it might be breathing a bit fast. Is it still eating? The water looks a bit murky, have you been testing for ammonia?

I would treat with prazi as @vetteguy53081 indicated if it is still eating and the water has less than 0.25 ppm ammonia.

Thanks for all the support and sorry for the video quality. It looked much clearer on my screen before I uploaded to youtube.

The fish is eating well so I dozed Prazipro about 14 hours ago.

I did get a little bit of an ammonia spike when I first got the fish. I guess my qt tank was not as cycled as I thought. I am supplementing with large water changes and quickstart xlm. Seachem badge looks slightly greenish under overhead white light (from iphone) and my redsea test kit is reading somewhere between .2 and .4. The pH is 7.8 so I should have a littler less than 0.02 ppm of free Ammonia.

I am going to wait a bit more before I do another large water change and take it from there.

Thanks again!
