Flood!

So I wake up to water all over the floor, OMG my tanks! (180, 29 and10) I do a quick water taste, yes right off the floor it's an emergency! It's not salty, yay! Oh no my RODI... wait it's no even on. The water softener filter burst, the garage is flooded, leaked into the house, walls are soaked, kitchen cabinets and floors ruined, but at least it wasn't my tanks' fault. :)

Wait... you tasted the water? ;Hilarious Sad to hear.I have RODI nightmares. Had many tiny floods but not this bad. But maybe next time grab a refractometer to check if it’s the tank’s fault.

I had kids for this reason. They are my salt water flood pros :cool:

I grew up in the desert, we drank water from the hose. A tiny bit of floor water won't kill me. :rolleyes:

OMG. I am so sorry to hear this happened to you but better it be fresh water than something like a sewer backup and definitely good news that it's not your tanks!! Getting the water mopped up and then fans and a dehumidifier are needed to help dry things out as quickly as possible. Also make sure your power is turned off to avoid electrocution (at least in the are of the flood). Put rubber boots on if you have them. Again... So sorry for this. Floods, no matter how they happen, are probably one of the worst things to happen IMO!!
