Does anyone from Florida know if there are any shows or swaps in central to north Florida? i always see the posts for swaps but they are never close or w/in driving distance. so if anyone knows of any in the central/north florida areas please post. thanks

Check out the Southeastern Reef Conference. Google it. It's going to be big and one day long. It's in Orlando in early July.

fort meyers april 16th
fort lauderdale may 14th
SRC July 9th.

there should also be a southeaster CFM sometime this year. and usually west palm and fort meyers have 2 fragswaps per year.

just here as far as i know, the announcements section has these also but there is a lot of California swaps, which to me being a floridian was frustrating because most swaps don't tell you the location until you've opened the thread, or they'll use acronyms so i just figured id open this thread

Would u happen to know if you have to be a member of certain societies or clubs to gain admission to these frag shows? I heard there's a fee to get in if you're not a member - just checking to see if you know. Specifically concerning the one being hosted in West Palm and at Plantation High School on May 14th

And thanks for giving us the tour of your reef and frag tanks. Very nice setup. Hit me back if you need assistance moving and re-setting up when the time comes.

stealth777...for the swaps you will need to either be a member $20 (i think) or i think it's a minimal fee to enter. all the other clubs do it where if your a member of one club you get a discounted rate to their clubs swap.

nobody I've talked to knows of se-cfm yet. I've heard rumor of may 15th but I'm really hoping that isn't true due to it being the day after ft lauderdale. (just like last year and it was miserable)
