Working on a new tank and I am working on flow. I am thinking one Nero 7 on each end of the tank and an Orbit 4 Cross Flow in the middle on the back wall.

Will that be enough flow for 200 gallon tank that’s 70in long?

I think I’m going to go with 2 of the Orbit 4’s. I think I’ll be able to pair them together and have one in child mode, which I think will let one run in a reverse flow and the other in a normal flow.

I'm not sold that two orbit 4's would be enough flow for your tank.

They are not forthcoming with flowrates for that wavemaker, and recommended tank size 20-120 gallons, so technically two SOUNDS like enough.

That said, my experience running pumps over 70% is that start to get noisy. So for me, these two pumps would be too small.

Honestly I think the

Maxspect Gyre XF350 Cloud Edition - Double Package (2x 5280 GPH)

is a better pump and value, and Aquacave has a duo package for $429, which is considerably cheaper than the orbit as well.

I don't need to be spending more money right now, but I'm happy with my flow, and I kinda want this :)
