Flow reduction in plumbing fittings?

How does the angle of the fitting effect flow rates? On a hard plumbed return line would you get the same reduction in flow using 45 degree fittings as 90 degree fittings?

2 - 45's are less restrictive. You can also use a wye in place of a 90° T.

I had planned on using 90’s originally for my return lines and drain lines but I didn’t think about the reduction in flow. I think I will be swapping out my 90’s for 45’s. Is there Y pvc fittings?

Not that big of a difference. Go with what works best over saving small amounts of water flow.

This I also agree with. Two 45's can take up some much needed space. I think the bean animal setups avoid 90's though.

Here’s where I’m at so far, it’s pretty much all roughed out with the exception of a piece of pipe, a Union and an elbow or two. The return line is really the only one I’m thinking about but the way I have it run it would be a real pain in the butt to replace the 90’s with 45’s.
