125g 6-foot. Currently 2 Icecap 4K gyres, one on each end. One third from right end is my return, adding flow there. Thinking of adding a Reef Octopus Octo Pulse 2 one third from left side to “balance” in a sense.

I personally prefer vortec mp-40
But the real question is why do you think you need more flow? Are there clear dead spots? Also what are you goals for this tank. SPS dominate LPS softy or mixed reef

Mixed. My concern is randomizing even more. I get lots of right to left but not much front to back. I get that tides go back and forth, but the ocean also seems to have more chaos, and front to back might add that.

I run two IceCap 4k GYREs in a 215-gal 6-foot peninsula, but I have them oriented vertically on each side of the overflow box. It's probably an apples-to-oranges comparison, but I can blow corals off the rock anywhere in that tank if I choose to do so. With GYREs it's a lot about patterns and timing. I would experiment more before adding another pump.
