so i'm not sure i 100% have them but its the only explanation i can think of my tang is pale hiding and visiting the cleaner shrimp and loss of appetite i have added nothing to the tank for 3+ months at 1st i thought the tangs behaviour was being bullied off the regal angel so i got rid of the regal angel the wierd thing is none of my other fish are showing any signs

midas blenny
2* clowns
Mandarin goby
Royal gramma
and the goldrim tang

i have dosed fluke solve @ 1.4grams for 94 gallon tank (total)

i am going to dose it again in like 7 days if it is flukes when will the tang start showing improvement? i added the fluke solve in 7 hours 24 mins ago from NOW

It does sound like it could be flukes - those are slow to kill and don’t hit all fish species equally.

You may see symptoms worsen the day after you add the fluke solve, as when the flukes drop off, they leave behind tiny holes in the fish’a skin. Those heal up in a couple of days.

If you can post a video of the tang I might be able to confirm it.

unfortunately i cannot get a vid as he hides in a dark cave and IF he comes out he zooms around the tank and goes str8 back in the cave

he has just been out to visit the cleaner shrimp again but the shrimp has no interest

The posing in front of the shrimp is a sign of some sort of skin irritation/infection.

The shrimp not cleaning it simply means that the fish’s signals aren’t quite correct, or that the infection isn’t something that the shrimp will eat.

any idea when i will notice improvement if it is flukes?

when do i dose again though 5 days after 1st dose or 8 days?

Dose spacing is all a complete guess. Different fluke species have different egg incubation time. A bit of luck seems to be involved. In this case, I would go with a 7 day spacing.

its still not eating hasnt ate for 3 days now and for awhile b4 that wasnt eating much at all either

is there a fluke that only targets tangs? cause i had a yellow tang die aswell again thought it was due to bullying from regal angel and like i said every other fish is FINE

I don’t know of fluke that specifically targets tangs. Regals are much more prone to the common fluke species than are tangs.

Yes - regal angels are like magnets for Neobenedenia flukes, and they get gill, and small skin flukes as well. Tangs are often symptom-free when there is a Neobenedenia infection in a tank, at least until the infection really gets cooking....

Can you post a clear video of the fish?

The "devil is in the details" as they say - I just noticed that you've mentioned a couple of times that it isn't eating. I've been focused on answering your questions about flukes, but not eating is NOT a symptom of moderate flukes infections.....you only see that right before a fish dies from flukes.
