Hi, I have a Fluval evo 13.5 I set it up last march. I had damsels and it was doing fine but the entire tank turned brown. I tried everything but couldn’t get the tank fixed. Forward to December now, and all the fish died and now I have 1 nassarius snail and no fish. After the last fish died the tank went back to being crystal clear like magic. I know about clean up crews. What crew would work well in my tank? And if there are any upgrades I can do I’d be willing to do them. I have a mangrove root in my tank so I have an extra light for that. is there an affordable light upgrade or alternative that I can use for the entire tank so I can ditch the cover? Thanks in advance for the help.

If you now have no fish definitely ditch the lid. The flow looks too directed towards the surface, try to point the flow down to the rock scape.
What corals do you want to have eventually? That decision will dictate your lighting choices.
Are you doing any water changes? Running any media like charcoal?
