You don’t teally need anything extra to begin with. I think you should set it up the way it comes out the box and make changes to equipment as you go. You will find that you like certain products over others not bc one is better than the other but bc every tank is different and have different needs. So many of us waste so much money in the beginning buying stuff we don’t really need. And when run into problems you have all these variables to chase. Just my opinion.

I’ve enjoyed the protein skimmer. It does have a tendency to get debris in it which u have to take it apart and clean to get it working again. It does take a couple of weeks to fine tune the skimmer just FYI.

Hey everyone, tank update. Added 2 hermit crabs, 1 snail, 1 daisy polyp, 2 ricordia, 1 pulsating xenia. Since I have added the ricordia they have each split, one in to two, and the other into three

Looking great! Have an eye on that xenia and don't let it tank over, very cool coral for movement but needs a little extra attention to keep in check:)

Ricordea is a simple coral it splits when it wants and is easy to keep alive because they are a hardy coral I love yours look amazing they will split just give them time overall your tank looks good what’s your water parameters just wondering
