Foam pad under tank???

I am upgrading to a 60 gallon Marineland cube, and I'm fairly new to the hobby. The glass on the sides goes all the way to the bottom, and the bottom glass has a layer of silicone in between it and the sides. From what I've read this is a floating bottom and you shouldn't use foam under it. I am planning to build an over sized cabinet for the tank so I can have a decent sump. The plan is to have the top of the cabinet be a sheet of plywood and have the tank sit on it. Is there anything I should put under the tank or will it be fine sitting on the plywood. The below picture isn't mine but I plan to do a similar stand.

No expert here but if the tank doesn't have a rim it should be sitting on a foam mat of some kind think a yoga mat would work fin

I was thinking the same thing but I read that with a floating bottom the foam pad can push up on the bottom and weaken the seals causing it to leak. So it seems you either risk the plywood causing a pressure point or the foam causing a leak. I was hopeing maybe a thin foam pad would be okay.

I email Marineland and asked them "I have a 60 gallon Frameless Cube Aquarium. The stand I plan to put it on has a plywood top. Should i put a foam pad under the tank or should I put the tank directly on the plywood? " and the response i got was;

Thank you for reaching out to us and we would not recommend that you put anything between the tank and the stand.
