Anyone know what opening I need to fit a Reefmat 1200?

Will 13" wide x 16" deep be enough?

According to the pictures, I only need around 12"? I will have more room at the bottom of the sump to fit the plumbing.. The eurobrace on top is the concern.

I have a ReefMat 1200 in my Red Sea 750XXL v3 sump. It is a tight fit, ie: I have to remove the motor, slide it in sideways and then rotate down in a 90° arc to get it to fit. You'll need at least 4-5" for the flexible hose/connector as well. I don't know what size your tank is - but if it's under 150 gallons opt for the ReefMat 500 (which isn't quite as large and easier to fit in most sumps).

Can u share a picture of how your 1200 ReefMat fits in your sump? I have the same Red Sea tank as yours and I’m looking into modifying my sump fr it.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
